Who snagged the number one spot? Spoiler alert: It wasn't Miranda Kerr.

We're Wearing Jena Malone's Outfit to Work Tomorrow
In one of those moments where we all simultaneously gasped, "look at Jena Malone!", we knew immediately that we had to have everything she was wearing. The Catching Fire actress made the rounds promoting her new film in an outfit that's actually pretty perfect for our day jobs. She nailed a fresh play on retro styling in her Tanya Taylor ensemble, sporting a sweet collared sweater with a full, checked skirt. For the full ladylike effect, she finished with a pair of classic nude pumps — now tell us, between the flattering proportions and polished, feminine feel, does this make the perfect office outfit or what?

Bought Leather Pants
Whether you gave into an impulse purchase or finally took the plunge on a pair of leather pants you've been eyeing all season, what comes next is a little trickier: how do you actually wear them? Fortunately, while some of us may struggle with styling leather pants, the street style crowd excels, and we're borrowing from their outfits right here.
Layer Them Up With a Coat
For beginners: layering a longer hemline, like a coat, jacket, or even a sweater dress, can cover any of the areas you may be less than thrilled about showing off in leather pants.
Balance Out All That Sex Appeal
Do as Joanna Hillman did and counter the sexy, edgy vibe of leather pants with smart layers. Trust us, when you add a turtleneck, a chic blazer, and a pair of heels, you can totally wear your leather pants to the office.
Make Them Casual-Cool
With leather pants, there's a tendency to want to dress them up with heels or make them really sexy for a night out, but know that they can also replace jeans in any of your casual outfits. Throw on a varsity jacket and sneakers or a cozy knit and booties to elevate your weekend look.

Street Style Trends You Love and Love to Hate
In the real world, street style trends don't always translate. What's fun at Fashion Week might not be appropriate for the office (Anna Dello Russo, we're looking at you!). Still, some of the stuff we love to wear now was inspired by some of our favorite street style stars and fashion insiders — think Jenna Lyons. So, where do we draw the line on what's wearable and which styling tricks you just won't try? Which looks you will and definitely won't try at home.

What Wear to Work
Mixed prints present a whole new way to tackle the pencil skirt and sweater combo.
There's more than one way to wear a suit as Sarah Ruston proved, adding a knit tube top to layer over her button-down. The results screamed fashion-forward but still boardroom-appropriate.
Go for a suit with more personality.
Sarah Ruston strikes again, this time with a high-impact print tempered with a staple blazer.
Sweeten up your work style à la Chiara Ferragni with a printed blouse.
Nothing says "I came to work today!" like a pair of fresh printed pants.
Keep it preppy and polished with a collared blouse and classic topper.
Simple and impeccably polished, this black and white look could be the star of any boardroom.
If you're keeping it basic with a button-down and black pants, then opt for a bold bit of outerwear to set your look apart and show a little more of your personality at the office.
Have a little more fun with your work pants by incorporating an edgier leather jacket instead of a blazer.

Not to be outdone, Chanel brought the glamour back to the East Coast for MoMA's Film Benefit, where Karlie Kloss, Lauren Santo Domingo, Zac Posen, and Anna Wintour shared the stage. In a cozier spot on the other side of town, Hilary Rhoda, Jessica Hart, and Dree Hemingway gathered to celebrate the launch of the stylish and striped TOMS + Tabitha Simmons collaboration. You can see what they all wore here in the gallery.
