Celebrities in One-Shoulder Dresses

Trends are ever changing and one that we have seen a lot of in the last few weeks is that of the one shoulder gown or dress. Hollywood fashion is a little crooked - and we wouldn't have it any other way! Worn in a multitude of colours and designs, we take look at celebrities who carried off this trend with ease.

Most of us can only dream of having the lean legs and perfectly-placed curves of Blake Lively, but if we did we're more than certain we'd be wearing this thigh-skimming corsage dress by Marchesa.

Sarah Jessica Parker didn't fail to take centre stage in yet another winning look at the ShoWest Gala, as she worked this season's vogue for stand-out brights in a canary-yellow Lanvin dress. She showed off her signature preened pins with a less formal thigh-skimming hemline, but upped the elegance with the statement ruffled shoulder.

Lisa Haydon: At the Chivas Kwan Bash, the dusky model/actress wore a one-shoulder Stella McCartney gown.

Gwen Stefani dazzled in gold at the Met Ball, wearing a piece from her own line, L.A.M.B. Layered tulle with a peekaboo black lining was a glamorous accent to the look, and her slicked-back hair helped to show off her nearly-bare shoulders.

A deep ochre gown by Jason Wu was Diane Kruger's choice for this year's SAG awards. One of the most stunning looks of the night, the asymmetric shoulder detail flattered her delicate shoulders a treat. Her bright red lip look and the glamorous train had her looking like an old school Hollywood beauty.
