How to Ask a Friend to be Your Bridesmaid

Asking friends to be your bridesmaids should be one of the fun parts of preparing for your wedding, and these girls will share this important moment of your life with you. Here, we will discuss how to ask a friend to be your bridesmaid.
The way you ask someone to be your bridesmaid might be different for each person, but you can get a general wording together. For example, "I just want you to know that you've been such an awesome friend to me. It would mean so much to have you stand beside me as one of my bridesmaids when I get married. You don't have to answer now. Just think about it and if you you'll have the time, then I would be so excited to have you there."
To have your friend over for lunch, or take her out. This is a nice, casual way to approach the subject of her being in your wedding.Another option is to have a girls' night out. You can invite all the friends that you want to invite to a girls' weekend or night out. Ask everyone over a glass of wine, or make them all breakfast and have little notes set out at each place setting asking them to be a bridesmaid.
You can also send your bridesmaid-to-be some flowers with a note asking her to be in your wedding. You can use almost the same wording as in step one except you don't have to say anything about her answering right now, since you won't be there.
Remember to set yourself up for some disappointments. Some of your friends might want to be in your wedding but just don't think they'll be able to manage it. Don't let your disappointment show too much if they can't be a bridesmaid for you. Your wedding is supposed to be a joyful event, not a resentful one.
