How to Measure for Bridesmaid Dresses

Buying bridesmaid dresses on the internet always need to supply your body size, so you need to know how to measure your size. Here are some tips to help you to measure your size.
1. Take the tape around your back and bring it across the fullest part of your bust. Arms should be relaxed, down at your sides. Wear a bra when taking this measurement.
2. Take the tape around the smallest part of your waist. Typically it's an inch or so above your belly button. Keep the tape slightly loose to allow for breathing room. Also known as the natural waistline.
3. Take the tape around the widest part of your hips. (The tape should brush across both hipbones) Measurement is taken approximately 7 inches below the natural waistline.
4. Take the tape from the edge of the shoulder socket to the same point on the other shoulder. (Measure across the back)
5. Take the tape from the top of your shoulder through the nipple to floor with the shoes you wear on that day. You should stand upright and your feet should keep together.
6. Take the tape from the top of the head through the nipple to floor with the shoes you wear on that day. You should stand upright and your feet should keep together.
